Over the last several months I have been recording with a fiddler and multi-instrumentalist, Kyle Felhaver, and have put together a great collection of Irish and East Coast songs and tunes. It was fun for both of us and like many projects it took some interesting turns, especially when you are engineering the whole recording from start to finish. We are now gearing up for the CD Release on March 16th at Greenfield's Pub in Ottawa. It will be a fun night with lots of music and unique characters throughout the evening. |

After a great time of being in Ireland I have decided to get back there as much as I can. In late Spring of 2010 I made my way back and connected with friends and musicians form my previous trip. I was fortunate enough to stay with a great accordion player from Innes, Clare, by the name of Sean Murphy. I was also fortunate enough to work and play with a number of musicians from the area in sessions, special events, and the Fleadh in County Kerry with an excellent ceilìdh band `The Four Courts` |

Ireland was just amazing. I was there for two months and was blown away with the scenary, music, and the people. I played with some really great musicians throughout the entire country and have gained some excellent friendships. In good fortune I was also given an oppurtunity to play with an Irish group in Gennetines, France for Le Grand Bal De l´Europe. This is Europe´s largest dance festival and is a week long extravaganza of music and some serious dancing. |

Late Spring I am making a long-time desired trip to Ireland. I am hoping to travel, line up some gigs and explore my Irish genealogical and musical roots. |
